How it works
Three steps between a busy day and a real dinner.
The meals are cooked before they reach you. Heat, eat, and keep the rest of the evening.
01
Choose your meals
Place one order, or set up a recurring charge of at least $80. That balance sits in a digital wallet and unlocks preferred pricing, even after the balance is used. Pause or cancel anytime. If you would rather not have an automatic charge, call and agree to order at least $80 at a time — that can cover several deliveries — and the kitchen will set preferred pricing on the account.
02
We cook and deliver
Order by 1 pm the Thursday before your delivery. Some exceptions are made. You can order several weeks at once. Meals go out Mondays and Wednesdays between 2 and 5 pm, right after they are cooked and chilled. They keep at least four days in the fridge, and they can be frozen.
03
Heat about three minutes
No pots. The container goes in the microwave with the lid on tight. Check the meal first for a cup, topping packet, or anything in waxed paper, and take that out. If you do, shorten the time by a minute.
Prices and portions
A single meal is 16–20 ounces, a hungry adult portion. A family meal is about three singles: two adults and two kids under 12, or three adults. Salads are priced like meals.
| Item | Preferred | Regular |
| Single meal or salad | $11.95 | $13.95 |
| Family meal | $32.95 | $37.95 |
| Soup, 12 oz | $3.95 |
| Most desserts | $3.50 |
| Muffins | $1.50 each · $15 a dozen |
| Mango smoothies | $5 · four minimum if ordered alone |
A few Wednesday specials, including the frittata, quiche, strata, breakfast burrito, and some pies, are $4.95. Those prices are marked on the menu.
From the fridge
Heating
Every meal arrives fully cooked. It only needs warming in the microwave or a regular oven. Meals come in durable plastic containers that are safe for the microwave and the dishwasher. Reuse them, or recycle them.
For every meal: look for a plastic cup, a topping packet, or anything in waxed paper. Take it out before heating, and shorten the time by a minute.

Questions
Why is the price this low?
The kitchen cooks for a lot of households on the same routes. The meal replaces groceries or a restaurant night, so it is meant to be something you can keep on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Can I send dinner to someone else?
Yes. Use the recipient’s address at checkout. If you already have an account, update the address for that order and switch it back, or call or email and the kitchen will place it. A gift certificate is separate: we email or mail the certificate, a how-it-works sheet, and a current menu.
What if I am not home?
Drivers ring, leave the bag, and keep the route moving. If it might sit out, put a cooler by the door. Reusable coolers are $10, and the kitchen provides the ice.
How do I pause?
Hold deliveries, add meals, change selections, or cancel a recurring plan before noon on the Sunday before. You are not charged for meals you did not get.
Is the salt low?
The kitchen uses as little salt as it can. Soy sauce, cheese, and similar ingredients raise it on some plates. Season at the table.
What about packaging?
Meals come in reusable, recyclable, dishwasher-safe containers inside a paper bag. After a run of dinners you have a stack of containers, not a bag of takeout plastic.
